The "Mäusekiste" day-care centre has been funded by the Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. foundation since 2004.

Its woodland surroundings and proximity to the Eibenstock reservoir make our nature kindergarten here in Stützengrün the ideal place for your youngsters to enjoy their childhood in beautiful natural surroundings.
The old schoolhouse was completely renovated in 2005, and we moved into our new home here in the heart of the peaceful, leafy Ore Mountains in spring 2006. Our extensive gardens provide a wonderful environment for children to play, learn and explore.
The centre caters for children aged from 12 months to 6 years old. We currently have 75 children on our register, who are looked after by seven teachers supported by three volunteers, Mondays to Fridays, from 06:00 to 16:30.
